    About Cullen Frazier

    I grew up in Plano, TX and after graduating high school, I went off to California for college and became a graphic designer before getting into CrossFit in Sept. 2010. I love CrossFit because it incorporates all the very best aspects of every other fitness program. My goals include becoming an amazing CrossFit coach and a stronger, healthier CrossFitter myself. My favorite CrossFit movements are the thruster and the deadlift. I love the benchmark WOD, Diane, which consists of nothing but deadlifts and handstand push-ups!

    About Michelle McKibben

    I’m from New Jersey.  I grew up training and participating in gymnastics and cheerleading.  I was highly competitive in cheerleading, winning several national championships in high school.  Thanks to that success I earned an athletic scholarship to the University of Delaware, where I competed and cheered for the Blue Hens.  Since graduating; my interest in health and wellness, particularly strength and conditioning, has grown tremendously.  In March of 2012 I completed the San Diego Half Marathon with Team in Training, a non-profit organization supporting The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society; and in the process of training found CrossFit.  After six months of CrossFit I became level 1 certified and started coaching.  It has now been two years since I began CrossFit and I’m so excited to be a part of the CrossFit White Rock family!
    What is your favorite movement/WOD?
    My favorite CrossFit movements are handstand walks, wall balls, and squatting!  I’m partial to all body weight movements because of my background; but I absolutely love the challenge of picking up heavy weight!
    What are some of your goals?
    My goal as a coach is to inspire each athlete and help them become the best version of themselves in and out of the gym.  The integrity and confidence they build in the gym will carry over into all aspects of their lives. My goal as an athlete for this year is to improve my Olympic lifts, complete a full marathon, and compete in at least one CrossFit competition!
    How do you see CrossFit being different than other fitness programs?
    CrossFit is different than any other fitness program because of the standards you are held to and the community that surrounds you; it has changed my life.  CrossFit builds confidence, promotes integrity and hard work, surrounds you with support and leads you to success!

    About Jesse Haines

      I grew up in West Texas and started playing sports when I was 12 years old. Sports is what drove me to learn how to train to become a better athlete. Training has always been a big part of my life and because of that, I've been a personal trainer and coach since 2008. I started CrossFit in 2011 and began competing immediately. I competed at the South Central CrossFit Regional in 2012, 2013 and 2014. I have a passion for CrossFit and believe it's the best way for people of all ages and backgrounds to train, including people just learning how to use their bodies again or experienced athletes.

    When I first walked into the gym for Runners X, I felt totally intimated. Ben and Mitch quickly alleviated that feeling with their encouragement. They are such awesome coaches! They made sure we understood the purpose of the workouts and that we performed the moves correctly and safely. I did things over the 8 week period that I never thought I could do! My strength, speed and running form improved tremendously! I can't wait to begin the intermediate class!

    I started Runner X because my fiance wanted to do it. I figured I'd give it a shot, maybe it'll help with my running and it only lasts 8 weeks. Now I look forward to the next 8 week course!
